Through practice with the soroban abacus we achieve three main goals:

1. Make Maths tangible for children (through the visualisation of abstract concepts), as a childs’ skill levels improve, Maths becomes easier and more enjoyable.

2. Impove mental calculation both in terms of accuracy and speed (a skill that will last for their entire lives)

3. Learn English (crucial for their future professional development)
